What is St. George?  It's paradise on a barrier island located in Florida, surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and the Apalachicola Bay. It's a fisherman's dream! Sheepshead, speckled trout, flounder, whiting, redfish, shark, and tripletail in the bay; snapper, grouper, amberjack, sea bass, mackerel, mahi-mahi, cobia, and sharks in the gulf.  Cast a rod from the shore, mine the flats, or head out to sea!

Lake Lanier is known for having three highly prized species of fish: the largemouth bass, Kentucky spotted bass, and striped bass. For anglers looking to fish either light tackle or a fly rod, this freshwater fishery is tough to beat.
